This well-attended event started six years ago and has since become a regular feature in the School's annual calendar; which is not surprising given the importance of leadership in health care and the continued interest shown by delegates over the years. Description Of Research Interests

Job Satisfaction and Organisational Climate within Healthcare; Nursing Management Issues - with specific emphasis on Leadership and Change; Research Methods - Specific Interest in Postal Surveys, Mixed Methods Studies and Focus Groups. Research Interests and Experience: My research interests fall within three main areas. Nursing Management, Clinical Nursing, Nursing Education. Nursing Management: Organisational Climate and Job Satisfaction, Leadership Styles of Ward Sisters. Clinical Nursing: Neurosurgical Nursing Nursing Education: Curriculum Issues e.g. comuter literacy and attitudes to computers among nurses undertaking a Bachelor in nursing studies degree.
