Description of Research Interests
I work in two distinct areas of analytical philosophy - epistemology and philosophy of religion. In epistemology I am particularly interested in cognitive relativism, contextualism, and the a priori. In philosophy of religion I work on classical theistic arguments, particularly those associated with Aquinas and his conception of the nature of God. I am currently completing a book entitled 'Reason and God'.

Research Projects
Project title Reason and God
Summary This book deals with the complex interrelationship of the two concepts "Reason" and "God" in the western philosophical tradition. Starting with a survey of recent polemics on the rationality of religious belief, part one constitutes an historical survey of significant positions on reason and God, while part two is a systematic discussion of metaphysical and epistemological issues about reason and God.
