| Description of Research Interests |
| I work in two distinct areas of analytical philosophy - epistemology and philosophy of religion. In epistemology I am particularly interested in cognitive relativism, contextualism, and the a priori. In philosophy of religion I work on classical theistic arguments, particularly those associated with Aquinas and his conception of the nature of God. I am currently completing a book entitled 'Reason and God'. |

| Summary | This book deals with the complex interrelationship of the two concepts "Reason" and "God" in the western philosophical tradition. Starting with a survey of recent polemics on the rationality of religious belief, part one constitutes an historical survey of significant positions on reason and God, while part two is a systematic discussion of metaphysical and epistemological issues about reason and God. |
