| Biography | |
| Juliette Hussey has been the acting Head of the School of Physiotherapy, University of Dublin, Trinity College since October 2003 and a senior lecturer since 2006. Her PhD investigated the area of activity levels in children and how activity levels impact on risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Previous research work has focused on the physiotherapy management of children with respiratory disorders. She has supervised 12 post graduate students to completion in the area of exercise in the prevention and treatment of disease and is currently supervising 6 postgraduate students In 2001/ 2002 she set up an MSc in Cardiac Rehabilitation which is the first of its kind in Europe and she was coordinator of the course until 2003. She has co-edited two books in her research areas. | |
