I have a research interest in modelling the solidification of metallic alloys. I am interested in dendritic growth in metallic systems and the development of microstructure. A particular interest of mine is the Columnar to Equiaxed Transition in various cast alloy systems. I also have research interest and industry experience in automotive design, specifically, in off-road platforms. In this regard I have experience in design, manufacture, engineering analysis, and performance of off-road vehicles. I have experience of designing bespoke Electric Vehicle drivelines.
