Professor Sean Kennelly MB BCh BAO PhD FRCP(Lond) FRCPI is Consultant Geriatrician in Tallaght University Hospital, Clinical Associate Professor of Medical Gerontology in Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and a principle investigator in the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience. He is chief and principle investigator in several international clinical trials in early-stage Alzheimer's disease, and he was co-principle investigator on the first Irish National Audit of Dementia (INAD) care in acute hospitals and on management committee for INAD 2. He has 60+ research publications and book chapters. He is a faculty member for the global brain health institute in TCD/UCSF, and a member of the clinical and research advisory panel for the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland. He is on several clinical and service advisory committees for the national clinical program for older people and the national dementia office. He is a member of the national dementia strategy monitoring group within the department of health. He is associate dean of higher specialty training in general internal medicine in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
