Kiera is an Assistant Professor in Human Resource Management at Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin. Kiera is driven by the belief that when workplaces value and empower people, they unlock the potential for lasting positive impact. She is passionate about understanding the processes that develop employees' professional and leadership skills, whilst simultaneously making a net positive impact on the community. Her research sits at the intersection of corporate sustainability and human resource management and she drives forward insights in research and practice, so that social challenges can be mitigated. Her teaching and research emphasises the human-side of business, focusing on how to champion better organisational environments, so that valuable and meaningful work for professional are created. She embeds this ethos into her role as the Academic Director for the MSc in Human Resource Management, where we develop reflective and responsible practitioners who reimagine workplaces to create positive organisational and societal impact. Kiera's research appears in high-rated journals, such as International Journal of Human Resource Management, MIT Sloan Management Review, and Human Resource Management Review. Her work has also been recognised internationally and won awards, such as the Best Paper in the 2021 Management Education Division of the Academy of Management Conference. Lastly, Kiera advocates for bridging the scholarly-practitioner divide, and has collaborated and consulted a number of Fortune 500 organisations to solve existing business problems and create new knowledge.

Summary
The purpose of this study is to understand more about employee volunteering across different countries at a Fortune 500 country. The research team aims to understand the devolution of employee volunteer programs across regions. The project will help the organization evaluate volunteering trends across countries, highlighting similarities and differences within the MNC. The scale and scope also will enable other organizations to learn from the insights. To put the findings into perspective literature of existing initiatives will be used as benchmarking.

I have reviewed for journals, such as Human Relations (ABS 4 and FT50), Human Resource Management (ABS 4 and FT50), Journal of Vocational Behavior (ABS 4), the International Journal of Human Resource Management (ABS 3), and Human Resource Management Review (ABS3). I also participate as a reviewer annually for the Academy of Management Conference (AOM) for both the Human Resource (HR), Organizational Behavior (OB), and/or the Social Issues in Management (SIM) Division. This enables me to contribute to the management scholarly community through aiding the peer-review process and ensuring that academic rigor is upheld. 2023-present
