Dr. Cadhla Mc Donnell

Dr Cadhla McDonnell is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Sociology. Her current research project investigates mental health and well-being in one-parent families in Ireland using a combination of secondary data analysis and an innovative intervention study. This research is a collaboration with One Family and is funded by the EU Commission via an IRC CAROLINE MSCA Fellowship. Cadhla has a dual title PhD in Sociology and Demography from Penn State University. Her dissertation research focussed on the interrelationships between gender, family roles, and well-being.
