 Over 10 year experience in research key programming abstractions for urban-scale reliable context-aware applications, and in particular for the real-time coordination of smart vehicles despite unreliable communication.
 Over 50 publications in the domains of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Privacy, middleware for Wireless Sensor Networking, and Smart Cities, including 14 journal articles, a book chapter and a book.
 Participated in 8 national and international research projects with both academic and industrial partners. Experience of collaborative and interdisciplinary research projects.
 Participated in 6 successful national and European proposals, including 3 as principal investigator. Successful research program development.
 Elected member of the Trinity Board, chair of the Equality Committee, member of the Human Resources committee, and member of the Centre for Women in Science & Engineering Research (WiSER) steering group. Representative roles at different levels of college life.
 Reviewer for over 25 workshops, conferences and journals. Actively involved in the scientific community.
