Dr. Yvette Graham is an Artificial Intelligence researcher and academic leader specialising in natural language processing, machine learning, and evaluation methodologies. Her work focuses on translating AI innovation into real-world impact through interdisciplinary research. She is Digital Content Transformation Strand Lead at the ADAPT Research Centre and serves as an OECD advisor on the future impact of AI on education and the workforce. She is also an Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence in the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin. Dr. Graham"s research spans efficient large language models and generative AI, machine translation, sentiment analysis, dialogue systems, NLP evaluation, and information retrieval. She has previously served as Science Lead at the Research Ireland-funded ADAPT Centre and has contributed extensively to the global research community through roles on major conference program committees, including ACL, NAACL, EACL, and EMNLP, where she has served as Program Chair and Senior Area Chair. Her current work addresses key challenges in AI and NLP, with a particular focus on model efficiency, evaluation, and the impact of AI on education.

LocalLite is a novel agentic AI framework poised to address critical limitations in current AI deployments. Existing systems often rely on costly cloud-based models and inefficient architectures, leading to high operational expenses, data privacy concerns, and significant latency. LocalLite offers a fully on-premise, privacy-preserving, and low-latency solution, enabling organizations to harness the power of agentic AI without compromising data security or incurring prohibitive costs. LocalLite achieves this through significant compute reduction " supporting almost all available open-source LLMs while reducing operational costs by 50-90%. This optimization not only lowers expenses but also positions LocalLite as a greener alternative to existing cloud-dependent solutions, minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact.

Advisor to the OECD on the Future Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Education and the Workforce. This work has involved working with a group of approximately 30 world-leading researchers to design scales of system performance to be used to communicate policy makers. The work has spanned 4 years to date and included 3 in-person 2 day meetings at the OECD headquarters in Paris, in addition to approximately 20 online meetings, writing a book chapter for the OECD, designing a rubric and scale to lead other AI areas outiside of NLP, and several presentations to this group. 2020-present
