| Biography | |
| Etain Tannam is Lecturer in International Peace Studies. She has a BA in Economics and Political Science, from Trinity College Dublin, an MA in West European Politics, University of Essex and a PhD in Government, London School of Economics. Her research interests are international organizations and ethnic conflict, Cypriot conflict, European Union and United Nations politics, international relations theory, British-Irish relations and politics in Northern Ireland. She has published various articles in international refereed journals and a book 'Cross-Border Cooperation in Ireland', (1999, Basingstoke, Macmillan). Before her Trinity post, she worked in University College Dublin, School of Politics and International Relations and NUI Galway, School of Politics and Sociology. She is currently conducting research on a comparison between the UN and EU in their policy-making approaches and outcomes to ethnic conflict, to be published as a book in 2013 (Palgrave). | |
