Dr. Deirdre O'Malley

Visiting Research Fellow (School of Nursing & Midwifery)

 


Dr Deirdre O'Malley is an Assistant Professor in Midwifery at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin. She is a registered General Nurse, Midwife and Clinical Nurse Teacher. Deirdre's research interests extend to all areas of maternity care and healthcare, with specific topic expertise in perinatal sexual health, sexual health and postpartum care. Deirdre has experience of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, mixed methods research, qualitative evidence synthesis, survey design and cohort studies. Deirdre is the Course Coordinator for the Higher Diploma in Midwifery programme
