VISTA (Violence in Schools Training Action) |
| Summary |
The project aimed to provide training resources, geared principally at school policy makers, to help prevent and counter violence in schools Europe-wide. The project saw participation from six country teams (Belgium, Bulgaria, Ireland, Norway, Spain, UK) under the co-ordination of Professor Helen Cowie (UK). The country teams came from a variety of disciplines: criminology, education, law, psychology. Outputs included a web resource (www.vista-europe.org).
