Member of the local organising committee for 9th World Institute of Pain Meeting in Dublin in 2019 with 2200 attendees. Chaired the organising committee of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of Ireland Annual Scientific meeting for 3 years ( approx 200 attendees per meeting). Member of local organising committee for the combined meeting of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of Ireland with the Neuromodulation Society of UK & Ireland in Cork in 2008 with approximately 400 attendees. 2008

Chairman Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee, St. James Hospital, Dublin. I was a board member 2003-4 and then elected as chairman. I initiated the Nurse Prescribing initiative at St. James Hospital and also negociated with CEO and CFO to finance the building of the new medication storage unit at St. James. 2005
