Dr. Siobhan Davis

Siobhan Davis is a prosthodontist who works as part of a multidisciplinary team in the Dublin Dental University Hospital which focuses on assessment, diagnostic work-up, treatment planning, prosthodontic rehabilitation and maintenance of patients with special dental needs such as hypodontia, amelogenesis imperfecta, dentinogenesis imperfecta. She supervises undergraduate students on advanced restorative clinics and also teaches dental skills development. Siobhan has a huge interest in all aspects of Dental Education and her main research interests are the areas of feedback in the clinical learning environment, communication skills, and in interprofessional education. Siobhan has been awarded a BA B Dent Sc, MA, and M Dent Ch(Pros) from TCD as well as an FDS and FFD(Pros) from RCSI. She also holds a MSc LPHE from RCSI. A committed educator she has developed, implemented and evaluated numerous interventions both in her own school and in other schools in the Faculty of Health Sciences. She was honoured to receive a Deans Award in Innovation in 2016 in the area of Feedback Literacy which culminated in the development of an eLearning module for clinical teachers.
