Dr. Caoimhin Mac Giolla Phadraig

Assistant Prof in Public Dental Health V (Dental Science)

My name is Caoimhin Mac Giolla Phadraig. Everyone calls me Kev. I am a Dub and a Gaeilgeoir. I am also a Special Care Dentist and a lecturer. I am also a committed activist for people with disabilities and a researcher. I see clinical Special Care Dental service as a privilege. I believe in research as a means of social change, as a tool to develop better services for people with disabilities in Ireland. I see undergraduate and postgraduate education as a means of amplifying such change across the profession. My career has developed according to these principles.
