Maxwell Finland award for Excellence in Infectious Diseases Research at the annual Spring meeting of the Massachusetts Infectious Diseases Society. I was nominated for this award by the clinical and research Infectious Diseases faculty at Boston University Medical Centre. 2003
Edward H. Kass award for Clinical Excellence, presented by the Massachusetts Infectious Diseases Society. I was nominated for this award also by the clinical and research faculty of Boston University. 2004
Travelling scholarship for an oral presentation at the British HIV Association meeting in Cambridge - 'The efficacy and tolerability of a programme of directly observed therapy (DOT) for drug users with HIV infection.' 1999
Travelling scholarship for a clinical presentation at the Spring meeting of the MSSVD - "Directly administered antiretroviral therapy (DAART) for the treatment of HIV infection in drug users". 2000
