Felix Binder leads the Quantum Information Theory group in Trinity's School of Physics. He is an expert on quantum information theory and quantum thermodynamics and currently acts as director of the MSc in Quantum Science & Technology. Felix Binder holds a degree in Physics from the University of Munich (LMU), a degree in Technology Management from Munich's Center for Digital Technology & Management (CDTM), and a DPhil from the University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. After his doctorate, he joined NTU Singapore as a research fellow in 2016. In 2019, he moved to Vienna's Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI) on an ESQ Fellowship. He joined Trinity College Dublin in 2021.
