I am currently working as an Academic Developer in the Centre for Academic Practice and eLearning (CAPSL). My current research interests are in philosophy of science education and creativity in teaching and learning. I am an adjunct Prof in Zoology at TCD. My research interests have been in eye development. My BSc is in Physiology and Biochemistry from Southampton University, UK (1990), I have a PhD in Physiology from the University of Alberta, Canada (1996) and I recently (2014) completed my MEd in Higher Education Teaching & Learning here at TCD, through the School of Education.
