Dr. Mary Brigid Quirke

Research Fellow (School of Nursing & Midwifery)

 


Mary Quirke currently works as Project Manager/Research Fellow on TechChild, a European Research Council funded research project led by Professor Maria Brenner. This project will explore the initiation of technology dependence in children with complex care needs. Prior to this project, Mary worked with the Trinity Centre for Practice and Healthcare Innovation (TCPHI) and was responsible for the development of collaborative research partnerships between Tallaght Hospital clinical nursing staff and TCD academic staff. Mary holds a PhD. in Psychology from Maynooth University,an MA in Forensic Psychology from University College Cork and a BA (Hons) from Maynooth University. Previous research work has been funded by the Irish Research Council, Atlantic Philanthropies, National Children's Foundation, The Meath Foundation and The Adelaide Health Foundation.
