Mr. Sean O'Callaghan

Senior Technical Officer (Electronic & Elect. Engineering)

I have a passion for alternative energy technologies and electric vehicles in particular. I also own a Nissan Leaf, have built a CBR600F2 conversion testbed, and have performed battery refit on two Vectrix VX-1 chassis to date. I have plans for a VX drivetrain transplant to an NC24 chassis, and finances available, a 150km motorway capable CBRXX conversion to follow. I am currently undertaking the build of a new family home with a "21st Century" brief. No combustion on-site and fully electric operation right through from primary heat (ASHP), to cooking (induction & electric), and transport (EV). The house will boast 4kWp of S-PV and 15kWh of battery storage by way of End-of-Life traction battery (the original pack from my Leaf). Intelligent Load Management is intended integrated although commercially available options are limited at present so custom development may be required. I have extensive experience with conventional engines, mechanics in general, and video and photography. I am also involed in the development of a new wave energy platform which is expected to begin open water testing in late 2017
