Dr. Justin King

Assistant Professor (Electronic & Elect. Engineering)
ARAS AN PHIARSAIGH

Justin was awarded the PhD degree from University College Dublin (UCD) in 2012 for research into nonlinear electrothermal equivalent circuit models for AlGaN/GaN transistor devices, with applications to power amplifier design. He then commenced a postdoctoral research fellowship in the UCD RF and Microwave Research Group and continued to work on RF device simulation and modelling, and in 2014, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In 2019, Justin joined the Trinity College Dublin Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department as an E3 Assistant Professor. He continues to work on RF device modelling, he is a senior member of the IEEE, and has served on several national and international technical programme committees.
