Dr. Edgar Galvan-Lopez

Research Fellow (Computer Science)

 


The research that I have carried out in Computer Science has focused on the design and development of new technologies for getting computers to automatically solve a problem. This research has led to the publication of over thirty peer reviewed conference/journal articles. I have independently been ranked as one of the top 3% researchers in Genetic Programming. I am a regular reviewer of the most respected computer science journals. Also, I have been an active committee member of prestigious international conferences in the field of Evolutionary Algorithms (e.g., GECCO (ACM), Evo* (Springer)). I have experience in writing research grants. I have also co-supervised four PhD students.
